As a mid-size pickup truck, the GMC Canyon can be configured to seat two, four, or five passengers depending on the body style you choose. With six trim levels and three engine options to choose from, you can pick the truck that suits your needs exactly. First is a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission that generates 200 hp and 191 lb-ft of torque. Next is a 3.6-liter V6 engine that pumps out 308 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque. It’s coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Finally, the third engine option is a 2.8-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine that puts out 181 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque.
If you want something that can handle off-roading and agriculture work, you can opt for the All Terrain model. This adds a reinforced suspension, off-roading tires, and a rear locking differential for better handling over rough terrain. The top-of-the-line Denali includes highlights like a spray-in bed liner, a navigation system, and heated/cooled seats.
There are two kinds of GMC Sierra models you will find not including the commercial vehicles, the Sierra 1500 and the Sierra 2500HD or 3500HD. The fourth engine is a 5.3-liter V8 generating 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. Finally, the 6.2-liter V8 pushes out 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque.
The AT4 is the off-roading version, which includes monotube shock absorbers, skid plates, all-terrain tires, a traction control system, and more. The top-of-the-line Denali includes more luxurious features such as a 7-speaker Bose stereo system.
If you are looking for an affordable SUV with seating for five, the GMC Terrain is your best bet. Available in four trims and with two different engines, this model is perfect for city driving and road trips. Standard on the SL, SLE, and SLT is the 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that generates 170 hp and 203 lb-ft of torque. Standard on the Denali and optional on the SLT is a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 252 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Both powertrains come paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and FWD. All-wheel-drive is optional.
The base Terrain model is called the SL. It includes heated/power side mirrors and rear privacy glass to prevent passersby from peeking inside. Inside the cabin is a 7-inch touchscreen that displays the infotainment interface, which is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Advanced safety features include low-speed forward collision warning and emergency braking. Stepping up to the Denali will add comfort features like heated/cooled seats and extra safety features such as adaptive cruise control and a surround-view camera system.
Able to carry up to seven passengers, the GMC Acadia is available in five trim levels and with three engine options. The base engine is a 2.5-liter motor that pumps out 193 hp and 188 lb-ft of torque. Once you step up to the SLE trim, you can get a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that pushes out 230 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque or a V6 that generates 310 hp and 271 lb-ft of torque. FWD is standard except with the V6, which comes with AWD.
The base SL model is well-equipped with infotainment features. The system is displayed on an 8-inch touchscreen that operates with Bluetooth, 4 LTE Wifi, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. If you are looking for something more attuned to off-roading, you can opt for the AT4 model. Equipped on the premium Denali model is a 6.2-liter V8 motor with a 10-speed automatic transmission that generates 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. You can also choose between RWD or 4WD.
Highlights on the base SLE trim include tri-zone automatic climate control, a 4G LTE Wifi hotspot, and a 9-speaker Bose stereo system. The mid-level SLT adds heated leather seats, and the top-tier Denali includes adaptive suspension dampers for a smoother ride. It also comes with a trailer brake controller to help you maintain control of your trailer. Please note that the Yukon Denali can only carry eight passengers.
